Angelina Nasso

Angelina has a deep respect and appreciation for Mother nature and the divinity of beings that inhabit Her. Guided by her dreams, visions and clairvoyance, her interest in comparative religion, plant medicines, and traditional ways of prayer, has led her to study and build relations with spiritual elders and teachers from around the world. For over twenty years she has worked closely with Native American elders and elders from the Amazon rainforest. During this time she has received initiations into healing traditions and carries the knowledge of her elders through facilitating prayer services and earth-honoring ceremonies, grounded in devotion to the Mother, that supports healing between ones personality, the soul and the Earth.

In 2003 Angelina began work with the Center for Sacred Studies in the organization of the first gathering of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers in Phoenicia, New York. She travelled and worked with the Grandmothers for many years and was part of the creative team that produced the book, "Grandmothers Wisdom: Reverence For All Creation”.

She is also a co-founder and Program Director for Floresta Project. An organization committed to preserving the original traditions of Indigenous peoples that supports sustainability for their communities in North and South America.

Born in Australia, of Southern Italian and Cumbrian ancestry in Northern England, Angelina lives in upstate New York with her family and community. She is a mother, an accomplished artist, ceremonial guide, teacher, homeschooler, and is part of a local collaborative project of sustainable farming to establish food security with her community.

Through the support of sacred plants, the passage through open heart surgery, and her own near death experience Angelina has an understanding of the importance of increasing awareness of soul healing before the end of life. In partnership with death doulas, she is available to facilitate deep healing ceremonies on an individual and group level for those journeying through the dying process.
